Members of the Chinese Women's A Team had an internal round-robin competition from 18-21 October. It was said that the bottom 3 would be relegated to Team B. Chen Meng was injured in the first round and had to pull out from the competition but should be able to keep her spot in the A Team.

The internal competition of the Chinese women's team was undergone quite secretly. There are no news about the rules and details about the competition and the only thing came out at the is the final results.
