Catch Up: Nationals Across Europe & Japan Top 12


Better than this late than never. Here is a round-up of the national championships across Europe which were played in early-Match.

Finally, I have completed the 2018 Team World Cup recap, the 2018 CTTA Open Team Competition report and reports on the Chinese trials. It has taken way more time than that I anticipated. Anyway, do check my hard-work and leave comments. Without further ado, here is a belated catch up of the national championships across Europe.



German Nationals: Timo Boll and Han Ying crowned men's singles and women's singles national champion. Here're the full results.


French Nationals: National title went to Yuan Jia Nan (women's singles) and Alexandre Robinot (men's singles).Here're the full results.

English Nationals: Liam Pitchford and Ho Tin-Tin are the men's singles and women's singles national champion. Here're the full results.

Swedish Nationals: Kristian Karlsson and Matilda Ekholm celebrated national titles win at the Swedish National Championships. Here're the full results.


Dutch Nationals: 18-year-old Shuo Han Men won her first women's singles national champion and Ewout Oostwouder came away with the men's singles national title. Click the links for the videos of Day 1 & 2 and full results

Belarussian Nationals: 17-year-old talent Marharyta Baltushite and Pavel Platonov clinched the national titles of Belarus National Championships. Click here for full results.

Russian Nationals: Alexander Shibaev and Polina Mikhailova claimed first in men's singles and women's singles respectively at the Russian Nationals. Full results are available here.

Portuguese Nationals: The men's singles and women's singles went to Diogo Carvalho and Olga Chramko are respectively. Full results are available here.

Austrian Nationals: Daniel Habesohn and Sofia Polcanova crowned men's singles and women's singles national champion. Here're the full results.

Danish Nationals: Anders Lind and Stefanie Christensen won singles titles. Here're the full results.

Other than the national championships in Europe, Japan had the Top 12 tournament in early-March.
