Halfway through the year, CTTA issues the rankings for the second quarter of 2018 on 6th July. Fan Zhendong and Zhu Yuling climb one place replacing Ma Long and Ding Ning respectively and come first on the listings.
Since the reform introduced by the General Administration of Sport of China in early 2018, CTTA has issued a quarterly domestic ranking for Chinese table tennis players based on athletes' results from the last 12 months in singles competitions (including singles matches in team events) at domestic and international tournaments at both junior and senior categories.
