Men's Round 17
Match 81: Shandong Weiqiao is going to face off the defending champion Bayi Dashang in this round. The highlight of the match should be the encounter of Lin Gaoyuan and Fan Zhendong. Lin Gaoyuan is known for his speed while Fan Zhendong could play powerful shots with intricate ball placement if he keeps up with Lin Gaoyuan's speed. Other than that, we might see an intense match between Yan An and Zhou Yu. If Shandong Weiqiao win this match, they will have the title under its belt.
Match 82: Can Xu Xin play well against lefties? A match between him and China's future Wang Chuqin will tell it. Liang Jingkun managed to win Ma Long in the previous round. Liang Jingkun shots sometimes remind me of Fan Zhendong, as they are quick and powerful. Will he take down Xu Xin?
Women's Round 17
Match 81: The CTTSL title will belong to Wuhan Hundred Percent if they win this match. However it will be a tough match with Chen Xingtong and Wu Yang as their opponents. I would say Chen Xingtong is a more powerful version of Liu Shiwen but lacks the ability to alter the tempo of the match and Liu Shiwen has an edge over Chen Xingtong in terms of experience and versatility. This makes the match intriguing.
Match 82: Shandong Luneng led by Zhu Yuling is in the running to win the CTTSL title. Bayi Jingbo may not have a ton of star power on the team but has fought strong in the previous match, especially its Sun Mingyang. My bet is that Shandong Luneng will win the match but it will still be an interesting match to watch.
Sad news for Ding Ning's fans as Ding Ning has decided to walk over the last 2 rounds of CTTSL due to injury.
