It has been a longstanding tradition for the Chinese national team to play warm-up matches before major international meets. The 2018 WTTC warm-up match is designed to prepare the World Team members for the forthcoming World Championships in Halmstad, Sweden. Coming up this weekend, on 15 & 16 April, the men's team and women's team members will be divided into separate teams and compete at the warm-up match in Huangshi, China.
The semifinals will take place on 15 April at 14:30 and 19:30 while the finals are scheduled on 16 April at 19:30 (GMT+8). World Team members women: Ding Ning, Zhu Yuling, Liu Shiwen, Chen Meng and Wang Manyu; men: Ma Long, Fan Zhendong, Xu Xin, Lin Gaoyuan and Wang Chuqin are assigned into Team A and Team B in position 1 and 4 respectively. The following is the draw of the warm-up match.
